Job Summary:
You will support multiple contracts within the department including providing support on the WPI Inventory contract. You are responsible for confirming purchase order acknowledgements identifying order errors expediting purchase orders and providing general administrative support.
Key Deliverables and Responsibility:
- Identify and report vendor related issues with products and pricing.
- Expedite past due purchase orders with vendors.
- Assist the Buyer Analysts with set-up of new suppliers including vendor registration.
- Locate and compile documents as requested for audits reporting missing items to the responsible Buyer.
- Record all supplier purchase order acknowledgements and conduct follow-up on all orders that have not been acknowledged.
- Maintain current supplier part certifications in system.
- Manage discrepancy reports for the department.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED
- I year of expediting experience preferred. May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to engage in and exchange communication with others in all situations.
- Highly meticulous and organized to execute multiple projects at once adhering to deadlines.
- Self-driven and proactive in nature. Takes initiative to resolve challenges.
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint etc.)

Pay Range: $36097.00 to $41254.00
