Real Estate Development - Electrical Engineer

The mission of the Architecture Department is to unite the creative vision precise technical execution and coordinated project delivery under one strategic approach ensuring every project is thoughtfully designed expertly documented and seamlessly delivered.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Systems Design team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for translating design vision into technically sound fully integrated spaces ensuring all building systems and specialty elements are coordinated to meet project goals. As an Electrical Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring our electrical systems lighting controls and low voltage systems are accurately and compliantly integrated into store designs. Working alongside internal creative and regulatory teams and external consultants the Electrical Engineer will help translate design intent into executable solutions while applying strong technical expertise and regulatory knowledge across a range of control systems. THE ROLE
As the Electrical Engineer Systems Design you will:

• Lead consultant and cross-functional teams by developing electrical design guidelines and RFP content managing consultants and aligning with internal teams to deliver technically sound integrated projects.
• Drive standards and manage risk by setting documentation protocols conducting milestone reviews and proactively identifying risks to ensure consistent high-quality execution.
• Ensure code and regulatory compliance by reviewing electrical and low voltage systems to meet all applicable codes supporting safe and reliable implementation.
• Integrate lighting and tech systems by translating lighting concepts into code-compliant solutions and leading integration of AV access control and surveillance systems.
• Design for scale and growth by creating repeatable infrastructure that supports diverse store formats and geographies enabling efficient long-term expansion.

THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Electrical Engineer Systems Design has:

• preferred; Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5-7 years in retail/commercial environments
• Strong electrical code and system design knowledge
• Experience working with external consultants
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzias Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $100000$150000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge skills and experience.
