Position:MD Intervention Specialist Moderate-Intensive @ Wilson Middle SchoolRequested by: Whitney BoboApproved by: Barbara QuackenbushQualifications/Requirements: Applicant must:possess a valid Ohio Education of the Handicapped certificate/license (candidates with multiple special education validations preferred or Intervention Specialist Moderate to Intensive)be aware of the social and emotional needs of each individual studentdemonstrate the ability to identify individual student needscreatively develop and implement integrated and functional activities to teach the content standardseffectively differentiate instructiondemonstrate the ability to plan and implement a variety of behavior management strategiesdemonstrate the ability to efficiently use student data to determine individual needs develop targeted learning plans and monitor ongoing progressdemonstrate the ability to serve students with a variety of handicapping conditions as well as some at-risk students within an intervention or inclusion settingstrong communication and organizational skillsdemonstrate the ability to be objective and flexibleparticipate in building and district professional development opportunities relating to the education of students with disabilitiessupervise classroom aides and guide their work with studentsdemonstrate the ability to collaborate with parents special and regular education staff students related service personnel and community agencies in the delivery of services to students with disabilities display proficiency in assessing student performance and writing IEP goals to address needsbe acceptable to the Building Principal Director of Student Services and Assistant Superintendent of Certificated/Licensed PersonnelEffective Starting Date: 2025-2026 School YearInterested candidates please complete an OHReap Application and email resume to
