Were currently looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator who will be part of the Application Basis (SAP Central Landscape & BT Infrastructure) Global Team responsible for the administration of IT Systems (SAP & NON-SAP) in KION Group IT. The person will take responsibility for the administration of the SAP Basis systems in cooperation with our outsourcing partner with a focus on the SAP Manufacturing Execution Systems and the support of the Factory & Shop Floor processes.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Cross-location and administration support of the system landscapes with a focus on SAP
Coordinate and control the external service provider in the SAP area and form the interface to the application team
Administration of the SAP Manufacturing Execution Systems and support of the application developers and the business
Carry out daily system checks as well as performance monitoring and derive measures for optimization
Provide incident support (2nd / 3rd level support) and implementation support of changes/release
Support of global SAP MES rollout projects or upgrades implementation and introductions possibly also as a technical sub-project manager
Support MES transition to SaaS Service SAP DM
Technology Stack you will work with:
SAP Netweaver Java systems
SAP Manufacturing Execution System
SAP Netweaver ABAP systems (Linux-based Oracle database)
S/4HANA systems
Microsoft Azure based virtualized systems
SAP BTP and SAP Cloud ALM
SAP SaaS and PaaS Services (SAP Industry Cloud Solutions etc.)
Your Skills and Expertise:
3 years of hands-on experience in SAP applications maintenance and projects with a focus on SAP Basis
SAP BTP SaaS and PaaS Services is a plus.
SAP Netweaver Java and MES work experience is an advantage
SAP consulting background would be beneficial
Structured way of working and a hands-on mentality
Strong communication skills within a multicultural environment
A project-related willingness to travel internationally
Fluent in English written and spoken (German is a plus)
Experience in utilities manufacturing or telecommunications industries.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
