Primary function of this role is to use a semi-tractor trailer to transport material between off-site warehousing and our primary fulfillment centers and manufacturing sites. When not driving the CDL Driver may work in any area of the FC or manufacturing facility.
Work Location:
- This will be an onsite role supporting both our Bird-In-Hand Woodworks and Lancaster PA locations.
Compensation Information:
- Hourly range of $22- $30 plus an annual incentive plan.
What youll do:
- Transport materials to and from off-site warehousing to fulfillment centers/manufacturing sites.
- Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Maneuver full and/empty trailers into loading or unloading positions.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size weight route designations parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Perform general fulfillment/manufacturing functions when material transportation is not required (i.e.; Receiving Shipping Order Filling Stocking Assembly Packing etc.).
What we expect you to bring to the table:
- General computer skills
- Must be able to perform simple math calculations work in a fast-paced environment and learn multiple job functions.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Class A CDL license
- 3-5 years experience driving semi tractor trailer is required.
- Experience in a warehouse factory or fulfillment center environment strongly preferred.
Education and/or Certifications Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
