Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 1 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design develop and optimize ETL pipelines and workflows in Azure Databricks.
Develop and implement distributed data processing solutions using PySpark.
Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure data accuracy integrity and performance optimization.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to ingest and transform data from diverse sources (e.g. Azure Data Lake SQL Server APIs).
Implement advanced analytics capabilities using Databricks machine learning and AI features.
Develop and manage Delta Lake and other data storage layers to enable high-performance data querying.
Perform data transformation cleansing and aggregation to support data science and business intelligence initiatives.
Implement best practices for data governance security and compliance in Azure Databricks.
Debug monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure scalability and reliability.
Stay updated with the latest Databricks and Azure features and tools to implement improvements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 5 years of experience in ETL development
Experience with any ETL tools such as SSIS Informatica ADF etc.
