Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Branch Loan Officers in all aspects of the mortgage application process including application intake document collection and file management
  • Review loan documents for accuracy and completeness; ensure all required information is obtained from clients
  • Gather and organize client financial data (income statements tax returns credit reports etc.)
  • Communicate clearly with clients real estate agents and third parties to provide loan status updates and resolve questions
  • Coordinate loan closings ensuring all documents are accurate prepared and delivered on time
  • Maintain compliance with current industry regulations and company guidelines
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and providing ongoing support
  • Collaborate and work with Marketing Department on behalf of the Branch
  • Serve our Spanish-speaking and English-speaking clients with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Loan Officer Assistant Loan Production Coordinator or Loan Processor in the mortgage industry
  • Bilingual in English and Spanishrequired
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Melville NY or Uniondale NY
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Encompass and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of loan origination processes and documentation requirements
  • Familiarity with federal and state mortgage regulations is a plus
  • Positive attitude team player and willingness to learn
