JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for general clerical and administrative duties within the parts department. This person will work with parts and service personnel and report directly to the Parts Operations Supervisor. Responsible for retrieving all paperwork and processing accordingly. Responsibilities will include scheduling tracking and logging all parts as well as coordinating personnel training and vacations. This position will also be responsible for stamping coding copying filing and sending all accountspayable paperwork for the parts and service department and handling all cash check and credit card transactions. They will be responsible for the receptionists duties to answer and manage all incoming calls professionally and courteously along with any additional filing and administrative support as needed.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Highly motivated have a positive attitude and be customer oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three years of administrative experience in a parts/warehouse or related environment.
  • Knowledge of Parts Department operations preferable.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service-driven atmosphere.
  • Excellent computer skills proficiency with all Microsoft Office software.
  • Superior communication and customer interaction skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop bend kneel crouch reach and twist; to lift carry push and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and the abilities to exchange information both verbally as well as through written communication as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations with both constant and sudden loud noises possible. Lifting/Carrying 40 lb.
