Job Description
Requirements/Qualifications:
Successful completion of PTBS 51002 (or equivalent)
Revolving daily job tasks (30-60 minutes/day (approx. 2-3 hours week per student worker)):
- Check gloves daily
- Clean tablessinks and counters
- Put away dishes tools equipment and trays
- Check refrigerators (assure not freezing)
- Check cooler (pooling water temperature lock)
- Refill cleaning supplies and fabric softener bottles
- Refill solutions (wardsafe softener)
- Check red buckets for trash (gloves and paper towels)
- Alert HAL Director of any concerns
Weekly tasks (60 minutes):
- Check moisture /mold check of specimens (spray down) in small suite
- Check stored specimens
- Stock of solutions and supplies
- Run eye wash stations for 3 minutes to keep water clear
- Stainlessbuckets at donor tables (small suite and cooler)
Other tasks (as needed):
- Organize lab coats/aprons
- Inventory of models
- Preparing material for courses (KBS course) swapping prosected material in small suite
- Miscellaneous tours and class assistance (if available)
- Preparation of stored material (brain removal assistance with prosections)
- Relabeling and preparing brain tissue specimens
Preparation of donors for transport day
Pay Rate: 15.50
