Human Resources and Payroll Operations in PwC Poland is a rapidly expanding team. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices streamlining processes and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our clients as we delve into diverse projects and collaborate closely with international expert consulting and compliance teams to provide comprehensive Payroll and HR Administration services across various sectors in the region.
We are looking for:
GL Payroll Accounting Specialist
Support GL payroll processes across assigned countries
Work closely with clients to ensure accurate and timely processing of GL clearing items
Handle payroll data ensuring compliance with legal standards and data protection
Validate payroll inputs reconcile output files and address discrepancies efficiently
Monitor compliance activities as needed
Communicate risks and follow escalation protocols for smooth payroll processing
Engage with employees clients and third-party providers for timely and accurate payroll
Coordinate payroll cycles and year-end projects for assigned countries
Support year-end and country-specific processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance processes/tools
Keep process knowledge current through training and documentation
Serve as a backup and provide training for team members.
2 years of experience as an Independent GL Accountant
Proficiency in English allowing for fluent communication both verbal and written
Experience with SAP HR & Payroll and Microsoft Office
An ability to coordinate payroll cycles with high accuracy
An ability to understand both detailed aspects and the broader context of processes
Sense of ownership of assigned tasks
Analytical skills attention to details energetic and proactive approach to achieving goals team working skills good work organization.
