Staff Nurse Ambulatory Care/Ward
Shrewsbury Hospital Permanent Part time
Up to 32500 FTE pro rata dependent on skills and experience plus enhancements
30 hours per week
Our Ambulatory Care Unit/Ward Team in Shrewsbury Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Staff Nurse. Start your journey with us whilst well support you to be your best.
To be considered as a Staff Nurse youll be qualified with an appropriate professional body such as NMC. Youll possess skills to support the variety of specialties and have an interest in ophthalmology. You will have a passion for delivering excellent and individually tailored patient care. Your excellent communications skills will ensure your integration into our multidisciplinary team and youll possess the proven ability to work autonomously and flexibly.

Shrewsbury hospital ranked as Good in the last CQC inspection is purpose built and well equipped with 24 en-suite bedrooms 3 operating theatres an endoscopy suite an Ambulatory Care ward/Unit and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray Ultrasound MRI and CT facilities.
We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics ophthalmology cosmetic surgery and womens health but also undertake general surgery urology and interventions for chronic pain management.
