Job Description

EMERGENCY ROOM MANAGER-BSN 2 YRS ER EXP REQ
LOCATION: FORT WORTH TX
FACILITY: 350 bed acute care hospital
SALARY: $95K - $142.5K $10K SIGN-ON RELO

DESCRIPTON:
Three ER locations including two off campus ERs.
  • Under the direct supervision of the Admin Director of Emergency Services manages patient care within the Emergency Department.
  • Responsible for planning and providing individual goal directed nursing care by recognizing the population specific needs of the emergency patient. g patient care activities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 2 years of Recent Acute Care ER Leadership experience
  • Current clinical practice in similar area of nursing within the last 3 years.
  • Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in nursing required Masters preferred.
  • RN with current licensure or RN with temporary permits to practice in Texas
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certifications required if not already certified must be obtained within one-year of date of hire.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Prefer national certification in area of expertise (CEN CNRN CCRN M/S CNA).
