SERVPRO of Southern York County is hiring Reconstruction Technicians!
SERVPRO of Southern York County is a leading full-service provider in the Maine area specializing in comprehensive property restoration. From Water and Fire Emergency Services Moving and Storage of Contents to Textile Cleaning and Reconstruction we are dedicated to delivering exceptional results to our clients.
The Construction Technician is responsible for providing construction services as required on small construction projects. Although they are not responsible for producing large jobs depending on their skill set they may perform some or all the following: rough and finish carpentry drywall paint prefinished hardwood and laminate flooring. Additional valuable skillsets would include: tile carpet roofing plumbing electrical and HVAC. They are responsible for delivering a high quality of construction and service in all dealings with customers clients subcontractors resource providers and company employees involved in managing construction addition they may be called upon to assist managing larger projects with a Superintendent i.e. making calls to subcontractors and performing quality control.

- Prepare work areas for various construction activities ensuring safe and efficient processes.
- Collaborate effectively with management and fellow technicians to streamline production operations.
- Execute production processes as directed maintaining quality standards.
- Conclude each workday or project with a thorough cleanup leaving the job site in an organized and orderly condition.
- Valid drivers license.
- Successful completion of a background check as required by applicable law.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
- Proficiency in handling pushing pulling lifting and carrying objects.
- Competence in working with and around cleaning agents.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- IICRC certifications preferred
- Experience in cleaning restoration or construction preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Strong oral communication skills
