Responsibilities
Working under direct supervision of the Site Network Systems Manager the Workstation Technician supports the Distribution Services department in the day-to-day operation of the business through desktop computer functionality and device management. The Workstation Tech works on Tier 1 moderately complex hardware and software problems.
- Provides immediate support to Distribution fulfillment operations
- Responds to any printer or systems issue preventing or interrupting the fulfillment operation.
- Effectively prioritizes assigned issues in order to provide efficient and timely customer service and escalates issues as needed
- Receives installs tests and trains the end user on new desktops.
- Maintains current software images of major desktop setups
- Works with team to manage internal periodic departmental moves
- Sets up Video Conferences as requested
- Writes procedures for software and hardware installation.
