Job Description:Power Origination Manager (Offtake Agreement)

Description
This position will support all activities related to originating negotiating and executing renewable energy offtake transactions. The Associate will directly contribute to commercialization and investment approval of renewable energy projects.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Experience in an Origination role for PPA sector and a strong understanding of PPA valuation.
- Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage the full PPA/tolling acquisition process including origination due diligence negotiation and execution.
- Analyze PPA documentation to assist in negotiating contracts with potential customers/ partners ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Create customized proposals and marketing documents in PowerPoint and MS Word for offtake opportunities and prospective customers.
- Ability to understand customers needs and requirements and translate these into profitable solutions.
- Ability to monitor and analyze market developments.
- Great communication skills with the ability to thrive in international working relationships.
- Assist with commercial due diligence on M&A opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education
- Bachelors degree in relevant field; Masters degree preferable but not essential.
Required Experience
- 3 years direct experience working in U.S. renewable power origination.
Other Skills
- A self-starter with strong commercial background and solid understanding of US electricity markets and PPA/ valuation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to confidently present sophisticated/technical concepts/outcomes to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
