Job Description
GREATER NEW BEDFORD REGIONAL VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL
TITLE:Custodian Substitute
REPORTS TO:Operations Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 1 year experience in general school facility custodial maintenance.
WORK YEAR: Per Diem - 1st and 2nd shift
Performance Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and assist others when needed. Provide appropriate trash disposal in assigned areas of the school.
- Provide support for equipment set up on building functions as assigned.
- Working knowledge of cleaning spills and potential bio-hazards.
- Provide support for ice and snow removal as requested by Facility Manager to insure safety of students and faculty.
- Maintain inventory of necessary cleaning materials and equipment.
- Understand MSDS for all chemicals and substances utilized.
- Perform other facility related tasks as requested by the facility Director or Operations Supervisor.
