At SOLO were revolutionizing solar sales enablement with cutting-edge SaaS solutions that help businesses scale and thrive. Were seeking a UI/UX Designer with strong visual design chops to join our Product team. This role leans heavily into user interface and user experience design while also drawing on graphic design principles and experience to create beautiful intuitive and consistent visuals across our platform.
Youll collaborate closely with product managers developers and stakeholders to define and deliver elegant solutions to complex design challenges. A high level of output will be expectedincluding numerous wireframes prototypes and design iterationsto support a fast-paced high-impact product environment. From wireframes and prototypes to pixel-perfect designs and visual assets youll shape the user experience across Solos core tools and sales workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end UI/UX design for key product featuresfrom discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and developer handoff
- Translate complex workflows into intuitive accessible interfaces across web and mobile
- Develop design systems UI components and reusable patterns to ensure consistency and scalability
- Conduct user research usability testing and synthesize insights into actionable improvements
- Create polished visuals and assets for product UI onboarding experiences and occasional marketing needs
- Collaborate with product managers engineers and stakeholders to ship high-impact features
- Advocate for the user and champion design excellence throughout the product lifecycle
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- 36 years of experience in UI/UX design preferably in a SaaS or B2B product environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work with a focus on usability clarity and polish
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred) or similar tools for wireframing prototyping and design system management
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and experience and web/mobile best practices
- Experience with user research testing and incorporating feedback into iterative designs
- Familiarity with basic front-end concepts (HTML CSS components developer handoff)
- Graphic design sensibility and ability to create visual assets icons and occasional illustrations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Bonus: Experience in solar energy or climate tech industries
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment.
- Ability to visually review and interpret digital designs and user interfaces.
- Occasional need to participate in video calls and communicate clearly via written and verbal channels.
