POSITION: Technical Support Coordinator (Tier 1 Support)
GRADE LEVEL: 6-12 Campus
LOCATION: DSST: Green Valley Ranch Campus located in Denver CO. You can view the current openings at this link. We encourage you to apply even if your preferred position is not listed as we will be posting new roles throughout the Spring.
SALARY: $59000 - $79000 based on aligned years of experience up to 10 years. We also offer a relocation stipend for anyone joining us from 75 miles or more from Denver!
STATUS: Full time school year benefits eligible exempt in-person position

Overview of Position:
Denver School of Science and Technology (DSST) Public Schools announces an immediate opening for a new Technical Support Coordinator position. The TSC provides quality educational technology resources for students and staff through the efficient management and maintenance of DSSTs One-to-One program laptop fleet consisting of over 8000 laptops and tablets. The TSC will also provide quality service and support for computer users and the technology systems in the classrooms.
Essential Functions:
DSST Public schools seeks candidates with strong character passion for excellence and a relentless commitment to student achievement.
Assist in providing technical support for all students and staff
Act as a member of the school staff and participate in related activities
Manage and document computer distributions to staff & students
Process warranty claims of computers
Manage software & hardware installation maintenance troubleshooting
Repair and maintain laptops & class room technologies
Provide alerts and direction in the detection of viruses and other system wide issues
Assist in implementation of creative solutions for improving school technology infrastructure
Assist school staff & students to use hardware and software efficiently
Work with DSST technology staff as needed to support the technology program of DSST
Manage maintain & document DSSTs asset inventory
Additional tasks as needed:
Assist with other DSST Public Schools technology support as needed.
Work with the DSST staff to provide training of classroom teachers in the effective use of technology to further student learning and enhance the educational and administrative processes of the school.
Support DSST in various capacities as needed which may include supervising students proctoring exams and more.
Required Qualifications:
A successful record of providing a high level of customer service in technical support
A desire to work with middle school and high school students
Demonstrated competence in laptop hardware/software troubleshooting and repair
Experience with Microsoft Windows 7/10 Office 10/13/16 Office 365
Experience with Google Suite
Documentation skills (Word Excel etc.)
Strong communication and people skills
Incredible attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Education: BA or BS optional.
Classification: Exempt
Reports to: Senior Manager of Technical Support

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
