Compliance Specialist (Compliance Specialist 3) Oregon State Hospital Junction City Campus

The Compliance Specialist serves on the Standards and Compliance team at a professional level and is responsible for the coordination and overall duties related to ensuring compliance with federal state local laws regulations policies and accreditation standards. Compliance Specialists are assigned to specific areas of the hospital to provide the hospital with specialized resources in all areas of the hospital. This work includes but is not limited to the review and resolution of the most complex compliance issues including interpreting standards policies developing data collection tools supporting comprehensive corrective action plans and trainings for staff related to compliance.

Preference will be given to applicants with five years of experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) guidelines The Joint Commission (TJC) standards Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) and Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR).
