What Youll Do
- Be the technical voice of our sales team: Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery demos presentations and customer workshops.
- Inspire confidence: Build trust with prospects and customers by addressing technical challenges and presenting solutions with clarity and insight.
- Design smart solutions: Craft high-level implementation plans and guide Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects to success.
- Collaborate across the business: Work closely with Product Management Marketing Service Delivery and Channel Partners to support revenue growth.
- Lead from the front: Represent Mimecast at industry events and evangelize our platform to technical and executive stakeholders.
What Youll Bring
- A proven track record in technical pre-sales or solution engineering ideally in a SaaS or cybersecurity environment.
- Strong experience in endpoint software and enterprise sales support.
- Confidence working with C-level stakeholders and enterprise customers.
- Solid understanding of email systems cyber threats and security tools (e.g. spam filtering anti-virus email archiving and migration tools).
- Knowledge of vendors and solutions like ProofPoint Barracuda Forefront Symantec EV etc.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value.
- A proactive hands-on mindset and the flexibility to work in a fast-moving evolving business.
- Bonus points for experience in project management channel/partner sales or consultative selling.

The OTE salary range for this position is 112000- 168000 benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for incentive plans and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
