Australian Christian College Swan Hill campus (currently known as Swan Hill Christian School) is a K6 school located just minutes from the town centre in beautiful rural Victoria. Subject to final approval by the VRQA the school will soon transition to becoming the fifth campus of Australian Christian College Victoria joining a network of Christian schools committed to educational excellence and authentic Christian community.

About the role
Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced educational leaders for the position of Campus Principal.
The Campus Principal is responsible for maintaining and developing the positive culture and community of the school ensuring students have access to high quality teaching and learning. The role is supported by the Corporate Office with finance HR marketing IT and building projects being provided by CEM. The Campus Principals role will be to grow and lead the School producing a strong Christian teaching culture of high quality. The Campus Principal will be expected to generate the momentum required to move the School forward building positive relationships within the school and wider community.
This full-time position is expected to start either Term 4 2025 or Term 1 2026 (open to negotiation).
The position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity rights to teach in Victoria Australia and child protection in accordance with CEM policy.
Requirements

First and foremost you will have a sincere and steadfast relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Out of this relationship you will act graciously toward all members of the school community and think biblically through opportunities and challenges associated with being in a leadership role within a Christian school. You will be a spiritual and educational servant-leader who seeks the good of others.
More specifically you will have:
- a vibrant Christian faith evidenced by service in your local church;
- the ability to articulate your faith to others;
- a commitment to the transformative power of the Gospel in the lives of students and staff alike;
- experience in educational leadership;
- a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to go above and beyond in pursuit of the schools mission;
- a teachable spirit marked by self-awareness openness to feedback and a focus on the good of the team; and
- the ability to relate well to others building strong respectful and collaborative relationships across the school community.

- Having experience and understanding of administration budgets and governance

Your referees need to be people whose knowledge of you as a leader is up-to-date. Referees are to include:
- The senior pastor of your local church
- If you hold a current leadership role the principal of your school
- If you hold a Principals position your current chair of the school board
Applicants must:
- Demonstrate an active Christian faith commitment
- Hold suitable teaching qualifications
- Be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or be eligible for registration if coming from interstate.
- Demonstrate evidence of performing successfully in leadership positions in Christian schools
- Provide satisfactory referees
