The Expert Track is an alternative to a classical entry position. You will be working in globally connected projects and agile teams. Take your chance to develop in your area of competence through project-based working exchange ideas with like-minded experts receive support from the expert coaches and make use of training & development opportunities tailored to your needs.

The 36 months Expert Track offers you the following aspects:

• Onboarding within predefined home area
• Connect with your expert coach to get support & exchange ideas
• You will have the possibility to shape the future of transportation within highly relevant projects in various locations
• Get the opportunity to participate in interesting and valuable trainings
• You will have a lot of responsibility in actively driving your topics forward by bringing in your competences as well as implementing your solutions

After 36 months of successful and intense project rotations you will return to your home area. Your new skills experiences and your global network will be supporting you in your future task.

Your home area could be in one of the following departments:

Daimler Buses (Mannheim):
OurBus Technologydepartment is responsible for the development activities regarding HVAC (heating ventilation and air conditioning) in all our ZEV & ICE buses worldwide. This includes component and system development as well as integration and application into our vehicles. For current and future city buses and coaches we foster innovation towards zero-emission efficiency and sustainability while always engineering for great passenger and driver comfort.

• Bachelor/Master of software engineering systems engineering mechatronics electronics natural sciences computer science mathematics or comparable field with a strong focus on data science as well as information technology business informatics or business administration HR management (with a focus on digitalization)
• You are experienced in software development and integration and/or electrical or electronic component and system development for vehicles
• You feel joy about innovations with good feeling for customer needs and technical feasibility
• Fluent in written & spoken English
• Willignesstotravelhighlevelofflexibilityandtheabilitytoadapttonewcircumstancesatshortnotice
• You are a visionary and you always have the whole picture and the customer in mind
• You are willing to question the status quo with new ideas and perspectives
• A start-up mentality that means being enthusiastic motivated and pragmatic
• Ability to work in a global and international culture
