Job Description

Location: On-site Milan Italy
Employment Type: Full-time
Industry: E-commerce / Fashion / Lifestyle Marketplace
Languages: Chinese English (for Chinese nationals) OR Chinese Italian (for Italian nationals)
Compensation: Total OTE based on experience candidate must submit accurate current and expected OTE

As part of their European expansion the company is hiring an HR Business Partner in Milan to support their growing team and drive talent success in Italy.

Responsibilities:

HR Administration: Manage payroll employee expenses personnel records and general office administration (e.g. supplies holiday gifts facility support)
Onboarding/Offboarding: Coordinate employee transitions issue/collect equipment and ensure smooth processes
Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees fostering an open and supportive work environment
Policy & Compliance: Enforce labor laws health/safety regulations and company policies while tracking market HR trends
Talent Engagement & Retention: Launch initiatives to boost team morale productivity and long-term retention
Compensation & Benefits: Administer benefit programs and conduct compensation benchmarking
Performance Support: Assist in programs that enhance productivity and organizational effectiveness
Ad Hoc Projects: Provide support for ongoing HR-related tasks as needed

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration or a related field
37 years in an HR Business Partner or similar HR role
In-depth knowledge of Italian labor laws and HR compliance
Fluent in Chinese English (if Chinese national) OR Chinese Italian (if Italian national)
Proven experience in employee relations HR tools and policy implementation
Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism
Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software is a plus
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills especially in cross-cultural environments
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Milan
