Job Description
As a senior machine learning engineer on the team you will play a key role in our development. You will have responsibilities ranging from model design implementation training model iteration researching and experimenting with new ideas and evaluation. You will apply state-of-the-art generative AI and machine learning methods to continually advance Siris capabilities. - 5 years of hands-on industry experience developing deep learning systems: training (and finetuning) models designing model architectures researching/experimenting with new ideas defining and creating metrics building datasets and performing error triages.
- Deep understanding of Generative AI techniques/literature and proven track record of training (or deploying) LLMs/MLLMs to solve complex problems
- Proficiency in Python and one of the deep learning frameworks (such as PyTorch JAX or Tensorflow)
- Excellent communication: strong interpersonal verbal and written skills
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science Machine Learning Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated experience with building AI agents LLMs for tool use and Multimodal-LLMs.
- Experience using one or more of the following: Reinforcement learning Distillation RLHF fine-tuning RAG/VectorDB LLM uncertainty quantification.
- Experience creating and maintaining large scale robust machine learning systems and infrastructure for data modeling and metrics for use in multi-person team setting.
- Experience developing shipping and improving machine learning models in a production environment or a solid publication record in top-tier conferences like NeurIPS ICML ICLR ICRA etc.
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212000 and $318400 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
