What Youll Do:

As an Administrative Technician you will:

  • Review and process licensure and certification applications
  • Ensure accuracy of documents such as transcripts and exam scores
  • Issue renew audit reinstate and inactivate licenses in accordance with state regulations
  • Prepare materials for board meetings and coordinate logistics as needed
  • Maintain and update licensing data using the My License Office (MLO) system
  • Respond to inquiries from applicants licensees and the public
  • Provide accurate information regarding requirements statutes and regulations
  • Perform general office tasks including answering phones managing correspondence and maintaining records



Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research presentation or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work including use of computer software such as word processing spreadsheets and database management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience performing administrative support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Access and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of HIPAA or experience handling confidential documents

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to interpret and explain legal documents and state regulations
  • High ethical standards and integrity
  • Comfort working independently while seeking guidance when necessary
