Job Summary: The Wood Nailer is responsible for assembling wooden components used in the manufacturing of joists and other structural elements. This role involves using hand tools and nailing machines to ensure precise and secure assembly of wood pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly: Position and assemble wooden components according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Nailing: Use hammers pneumatic guns or nailing machines to fasten wood pieces together.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on nailing machines and hand tools.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate safety gear.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in woodworking or a similar role is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools and nailing machines. Ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:
