We are looking for a mechanically inclined team member and offer on-the-job training for those willing to learn and expand their skill set. Working at Rec Well facilities provides a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. This position is a unique opportunity to advance a career at a top-tier school and further develop and acquire new skills including basic building repairs light mechanical work and fitness equipment repairs.
Compensation: Minimum $21.50 Hourly
Depending on qualifications the starting hourly rate for a Facility Technician II position is $21.50 per hour. Actual pay is negotiable and will depend on experience and qualifications.

Fitness equipment repair or mechanical/electrical diagnostics and repair
Perform skilled repair and maintenance tasks such as light carpentry painting fixture and furniture installation and general facilities upkeep
Entry level computer skills
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Additional Details:
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (flexible based on operational needs). On an occasional basis exercise flexibility to work evening or weekend hours.
Work Location: Bakke Recreation & Wellbeing Center
Physical Demands: Extended standing; lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
Education: H.S. Diploma Preferred Minimum
