Job Description

Job Title: Special Education AdministratorLocation: Hampton NH and Keene NH (Serving AVA & SRA Campuses)Reports To: Superintendent of SchoolsEmployment Type: Full-Time Exempt (Salaried)Compensation: Salary is competitive and based on experience and Prospect Academy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Administrator to lead and support special education services across two dynamic campuses: Ashuelot Valley Academy (AVA) Keene NH and Squamscott River Academy (SRA) in Hampton NH. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in both day and residential school settings. MPA has evolved to offer a variety of mental health support services to a diverse population of hard to treat and difficult to place adolescence. Our targeted services include home and community-based treatment residential treatment programs group homes and special education schools. MPA is known for its ability to achieve successful outcomes with difficult-to-serve individuals throughout New of Job Responsibilities: The Special Education Administrator provides an oversight of the effective delivery of Special Education services. This position ensures compliance with the established policies procedures and/or regulations related to special education. This position requires collaboration with special education staff serving as a resource of information regarding special education programs and services; and ensures that procedures are appropriate in relation to policies required by state and federal regulatory requirements. This position will work closely with the school principal to prioritize communication and collaboration among faculty administration and parents focused on student :Design and implement inclusive special education programs that promote integration and equitable learning opportunities for all compliance with federal state and local regulations governing special education services and accurate and compliant student records in accordance with NHED ethical and legal standards consistent with professional expectations in and manage policies and procedures for evaluation placement and individualized education plans (IEPs).Collaborate regularly with department staff to monitor program effectiveness plan strategically and resolve with families and stakeholders to communicate program goals and respond to community partnerships to build support and understanding of special education in the preparation and oversight of the special education informed on current laws and best practices related to special special education programming at AVA and SRA.A full job description will be provided at the time of the interview.
