About this Position
Cleaning is defined to include vacuuming sweeping mopping hard floor maintenance dusting waxing polishing office brass and office furniture woodwork and empty trash. Clean outside of the Student Union to include balconies loading docks entrances and parking garage. Clean assigned areas to include offices meeting rooms public areas hallways stairs escalators and retail shops.
Utilizes assigned equipment and fills out work order forms detailing equipment and any other problems and conditions requiring maintenance.
Maintains restrooms in clean operating and sanitary condition.
- cleaning sinks urinals stools mirrors columns and walls
- replaces deodorizes toilet tissue hand towels hand lotion and hand soap
Perform related duties as assigned and as the need arises.
This position is an overnight shift.
Ability to push pull lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. kneel crouch and/or crawl. This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally.

Required Qualifications
- No Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- High School/GED
- High school diploma/GED and/or one year of related work experience
- Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
Knowledge in general housekeeping floor cleaning tile/carpet upkeep (to include spot removal) and wood surface cleaning
