Position: Behavioral Health Technician (Working with Children with Autism)
Journey Center is a rapidly growing organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of both our clients and employees. We are currently seeking acompassionate motivated and team-oriented individualto join our team in Altoona PA.

What Youll Do:- Work directly with children with autism in various settings including our center local schools and the community.
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support developmental goals.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.
- Help children and families achieve meaningful progress in their daily lives.
- Ateam playerwith a heart for helping children and families.
- Reliable transportationand willingness to travel locally.
- Experience with autism and/or intellectual disabilities is aplus.
- Familiarity with ABA is preferred.
- Education: A 4-year degree is ideal but we will consider candidates with a 2-year degree or high school diplomawith relevant experience.
- If youre pursuing certification as aBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) we offersupervision hoursto support your journey.
