We are seeking a talented self-motivated motion scientist to build Apples next-generation features and experiences using multi-modal this role you will ideate design and implement algorithms & models while optimizing for power memory and performance. You will be creating and driving motion sensing-related features and interactive technologies that impact over a billion customers. Responsibilities include:Evolving and realizing the technical vision for CoreMotion and working cross-functionality to align on that vision with partner teamsProviding clear technical communication and guidance both for the team and leadershipDeveloping and deploying state-of-the-art motion features for low-power embedded systems
You have domain expertise - MS PhD or 5 years experience in mechanical engineering computer science or related disciplines
You have a track record of success - developed impactful features with a proven track record to optimally prioritize and deliver tasks on schedule
You have a strong product focus & have provided creative solutions that balance technical complexity and user experience
Youre experienced developing for embedded or real-time systems in C/C
You have deep technical knowledge of signal processing motion estimation and system modeling
You have experience developing interfaces between algorithms software and firmware
Youre experienced with multi-modal algorithms including IMU images video and/or audio
You thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while driving multiple projects across teams
You are obsessively passionate and inquisitive and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
