Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technicians / Maintenance Mechanics
** Must have at least 1 year of maintenance experience in industrial settings (salary based on experience).
** Union Facility
** 2nd Shifts: 2pm to 10:30/11:30pm
- Should own and have basic tools required at hiring;
Example: Crescent wrench channel locks screw drivers box wrenches socket set multi meter (with
correct category rating). (Cat IV 600V and Cat III 10000V)(Also have knowledge of use of meter) Wire
stripper lineman pliers side cutters needle nose and tape measure.
- Should understand basic wiring:
Example: Drop in ceiling light fixtures 120v extension cords repair 3ph cords wire 1ph motor etc.
- Familiar with basic lockout tag out concepts.
- Should be able to understand basic electrical diagrams.
- Should have some basic knowledge of Hydraulics vacuum pneumatics and plumbing.
- Should be able to have basic welding ability.
- Ability to work on own with basic instructions from supervisor or lead mechanic.
- Ability to read and understand trouble shooting manuals and parts illustrations
Pay rate is determined by skill level in the following:
- Electrical/Electronics
- Hydraulics
- Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
- Welding
- Refrigeration
- Mechanical Troubleshooting and Repair
- Machine Maintenance: manufacturing
