Your role

We are looking for a Manager Production Planning to our new department in Production FCC Jrflla. Are you an experienced leader who wants to combine excellent leadership skills strategic thinking together with continuous improvements This might be the position for you!

Production Supply Chain is a new function with in Production FCC Jrflla with the purpose to increase efficiency in the supply chain from production planning to material available in storage to secure that the Manufacturing is executing on time with the correct quality.

As Manager Production Planning you will lead a team consisting of 17 employees; Production Planning Project Planning and Material Planning. Your focus will be to continue to build strong and high performing teams as well as increase the collaboration with Procurement and Inspection in order to drive efficiency and accuracy in supply chain to secure production execution on time.

Together with your team and stakeholders you will be responsible of continue to develop a successful planning method aligned to our divisions strategy and ensure execution on that path by evaluating and acting on important KPIs.

Since the organisation will be a corner stone in efficient and effective procurement and manufacturing you will face a broad range of internal interfaces and stakeholders. Therefore your daily work requires excellent communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Translating Saab Surveillance and Production FCC Jrflla strategies into clear and well-communicated targets for your organisation.
• Leading according to Saabs organisational values.
• Full responsibility for results within your area which includes safety and health quality delivery capacity efficiency and finance.
• Coaching and development of abilities and competences in your team and by so growing your staff to take on more complex and demanding tasks.
• Empower your employees through value driven leadership.
• Develop efficient ways of working within your area implement best practices and drive continuous improvements.
• Accountable for short medium and long-term production plans.

Your profile

More specifically we believe that you have:

• Master of Science in Engineering logistics other adequate educational or equal working experience.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience within a relevant area e.g. project management team leading or line management.
• Minimum three years of experience of logistics production planning or similar.
• Proven ability and interest in leading developing and challenging the organisation management teams and employees
• Skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions
• Strong business understanding and customer focus
• Skilled in communication
• Experiences from ERP-systems (such as IFS).
• Excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Production FCC Jrflla belongs to BU Fighter Core Capabilities and the portfolio covers Fighter Radar and Data Links Aircraft Systems and Electronic Warfare with mission to primary serve Fighter Core Capabilities with production capacity and capability. You will be a member of the Production Supply Chain management team and report to Head of Production Supply Chain FCC Jrflla.
