The Procurement Analyst I role be responsible for handling maintenance repair & operations orders (MRO) and all standard purchasing responsibilities for our team in Dixon IL. This role will also work with suppliers on a regular basis and handle the purchase orders throughout the process. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and This role is based out of Dixon IL and would require this individual to be on site regularly.
Role Responsibilities:
Purchases goods and services according to the Donaldson policies and procedures.
Coordinates with managers to maintain inventory levels.
Evaluates vendors based on price reliability capability and previous transaction history.
Works with vendors to negotiate volume and cash transaction discounts and other available discounts.
Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records.
Handle any DPAS/DFARS related supply chain activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
At least 2 years of experience in production control planning purchasing or supply chain management
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or bachelors degree in a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Solid understanding of purchasing procedures and related policies
Experience interacting with external suppliers or vendors
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Negotiation skills are a plus
Prior experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
Working knowledge of systems such as Oracle PDM MS Office MSDS Online and web-based applications
Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Annual Salary Range: $54600 $68900.
Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to applicable work experience training education performance.
