40Summary:
Seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Surgery Scheduler to serve as a liaison between the clinic and Surgical Services department to schedule patients for a variety of surgical procedures. The Scheduler plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of the general surgeons practice. The Scheduler is responsible for collaboratively booking all surgical procedures and collecting all pertinent patient and financial information prior to procedures. Requires a strong skillset in professional communication organization and flexibility.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Required Education Experience & Licensure:
High School diploma or GED required bachelors coursework and/or additional business courses preferred.
Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in a related field and broad knowledge of medical terminology.
Typing accuracy of 60 words per minute is desired.
Comfortable with computer programs software fax machines email printers and copy machines.
Must exhibit exceptional communication organization and flexibility skills.
Valid Drivers License required.
