Auto Body Technician
Deery Collision Center
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our this role you will repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. Youll work on everything from minor dents to major collision damage ensuring top-quality results and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine repair needs.
Perform body repairs including removing damaged panels straightening frames welding and replacement of parts.
Sand prime and prepare repaired surfaces for painting.
Install and align repaired or replacement parts.
Follow repair orders and ensure work is performed efficiently and accurately.
Maintain clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members estimators and customers as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in auto body repair preferred.
5 years of experience in auto body repair.
Proficient in using auto body tools and equipment.
Knowledge of vehicle construction and repair techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications:
I-CAR or ASE certification.
Experience with estimating software or repair planning.
