We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses storage spaces and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.
Being the front line for maintenance needs
Our clients will come to you for equipment fixes so youll be expected to be skilled in carrying out repairs. At the same time you should always be ready to get hold of vendors to do maintenance work at a moments notice. On top of this youll also have to speed up any required equipment moves adds and changes every decision or action you will make youll need to keep in mind that you follow local governmental rules and regulations to avoid any legal troubles.
Routine activities associated with the role
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Sound like you To apply you need to be:
Certified and experienced
- Proven experience as forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
Good-natured and customer-oriented
Can you clearly report issues and problems and provide clear instruction to repair bugs and malfunctions To serve clients the best way possible good communication skillsboth written and spokenwill also be indispensable for this role.
