Project Kuiper is Amazons low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Kuiper IT & Digital Operation team is looking to hire a Software Development engineer. This is a fast-paced intellectually challenging position and will work with leaders in multiple technology areas. Key job responsibilities
Work with Export and Kuiper Security to deliver IAM requirements
- Build and deliver user device and service Identities for Kuipers business operations
- Build RBAC and ABAC services
- Develop secure services utilizing x509 Certificates for Digital Signatures and Encryption
- Develop cloud native software systems in Go
- Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly-available software services.
- Design and develop performant systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements.
- Help on-board and mentor new team members.

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
