Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive IAM Consultant to join our UK-based Managed Services team. This is a client-facing position that demands strong technical expertise in Linux system administration and SQL combined with experience in Identity and Access Management solutions. You will be responsible for implementing and managing IAM solutions resolving complex access issues and collaborating with clients and internal teams to enhance security and streamline identity processes.
This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in Linux SQL and IT security who want to deepen their IAM expertise while delivering innovative solutions that support business objectives.
Responsibilities: Your day if you join us:
- Administer and maintain IAM platforms such as IBM ISVG and Exostars Access: One ensuring operational efficiency and secure access controls.
- Manage user identities roles and access privileges across IAM systems and integrated applications.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for the IAM platform ensuring timely resolution of access and identity issues.
- Analyze and troubleshoot live log files to identify and resolve errors proactively during support operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex access and identity-related issues including replicating customer environments for detailed diagnostics.
- Collaborate with clients to assess IAM needs and deliver tailored solutions aligned with security and compliance requirements.
- Document technical issues resolutions configurations and contribute to internal knowledge bases and standard operating procedures.
- Partner with engineering teams to design develop and implement IAM solutions.
- Drive continual service improvement by identifying areas for optimization in IAM systems workflows and processes.
Basic Qualifications: You meet our must-haves for this role if:
Proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration including shell commands and troubleshooting.
Strong SQL skills for data validation analysis and reporting. (DB2 experience is a plus.)
- Experience with IBM ISVG or equivalent IAM solutions.
- Knowledge of identity directories such as LDAP and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with system integration (Web Services REST APIs).
- Working knowledge of Federated SSO and modern authentication protocols (SAML OIDC OAuth2).
- Understanding of HTTP servers application servers log analysis and Docker concepts.
- 4 years of professional experience in IAM Support role.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications You are exactly who we are looking for if you:
- Scripting experience (e.g. shell scripting or JavaScript).
- Exposure to other IAM/IDM platforms and tools.
- IBM ISVG certifications or equivalent credentials preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a security-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client trust.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing habits.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required to meet client needs.
Location: Bengaluru Office- Hybrid (3x/week)
