Job Description

Job Summary:

This Registered Nurse position requires at least two years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum care. The role involves providing skilled nursing care in a fast-paced Level III Obstetrical unit collaborating with a team and adapting to fluctuating schedules. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning within a busy unit averaging 400 births during peak seasons. Floating between units based on need is required.
Location: Everett Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum units.
- Performing patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Adapting to a fast-paced environment with high patient volume.
- Floating to other units as needed.
- Participating in a three-day orientation.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum two years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum care.
- ACLS certification.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification.
- BCLS certification.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.

Special Considerations:
- Primarily night shifts (3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts).
- Weekend work is typically every other weekend but may be more frequent.
- Floating between units is required based on need.
- No holiday RTO. All RTO must be submitted at the time of application.
- Guaranteed hours are 36 or 48 per contract.
- Pending licenses are accepted.

Scheduling:
- 3 or 4 twelve-hour night shifts.
- Weekend rotation is typically every other weekend but may be more frequent to cover absences.
- Shift assignments are determined based on unit needs.
