Collect required data and assist in the preparation of documents and applications to obtain required permits including air wetlands NPDES and DOT permits.
Coordinate preparation and implementation of SPCC Plans.
Support and develop ongoing improvements of environmental systems including database systems and processes.
Highly skilled within databases with the ability to gather verify and format data in multiple systems is preferred.
Assist in safety and environmental inspections.
Assist in maintaining response plans.
Assist operations personnel in implementation of safety and environmental stewardship practices for the division.
Assist in regulatory notifications.
Assist with preparation and distribution of incident summaries.
Assist with processing invoices and check requests.
Willing to travel up to 20%.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Chemistry Biology Safety Environmental or related field with one year experience in Safety and Environmental preferred.
High School diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of safety and environmental laws and regulations preferred.
Good organizational and record keeping skills are required.
Computer literacy is required.
Ability to work effectively with others at all levels.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to exercise sound judgement.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
