The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound imaging in both the i-Health office setting and outreach sites.
This is a full-time position working M-F from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm out of our Edina and Oakdale locations.
Preventive Cardiology Clinic is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions:
- Perform echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms
- Answer patient questions about procedures and/or equipment
- Ability to perform data entry and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ensure equipment stays functional and reliable
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Two-year degree in non-invasive cardiology
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- BLS certification
- Experience with the Philips Compact 5500 preferred
