Position Summary
The Lead Cook will prepare meals for events held at the Pasadena Convention Center.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $26.00-$27.00.
Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) Savings Plan 401(k) matching and Paid Time Off (vacation days sick days and 11 holidays).
This position will remain open until August 22 2025.
About the Venue
The Pasadena Convention Center is a campus-style meetings and events complex in Pasadena California offering 130000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked in a timely accurate consistent and quality manner.
- Comply with all established health sanitation and safety procedures.
- Ensure all products are prepared held and served at correct temperatures.
- Utilize proper recipes equipment tools and utensils.
- Adhere to company standards for food quality taste flavor and presentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to follow written and oral direction.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
