Normal Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary:The Director of the Alabama Center for Real Estate directs the operations of the Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE). Act as an industry liaison and relationship builder an academic liaison within the University and a strategic planner with a focus on marketing and promoting the ACRE. Acts as a relationship builder within the state with entities such as Alabama Real Estate Commission Alabama Association of Realtors Certified Commercial Investment Members Mortgage Bankers Association etc. Acts as liaison with various academic and student groups which include the University of Alabama administration faculty other University centers student real estate classes etc. Travels on business trips.
Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree and eight (8) years of real estate experience; OR masters degree and six (6) years of real estate experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. drivers license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
