This may be the position for you!
We are currently looking for a Full time Cook who would be responsible for preparing and assisting in the preparation of nutritional meals and snacks for our students and staff. As a boarding school our kitchen is open year-round (with the exception of winter and spring breaks)
What we offer
- Potential Start Date: September 1
- Wednesday-Saturday 11:30am-8:00pm or Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday 11:30am-8:00pm(Flexible Schedule options)
- On-the-job training
- Meal as a taxable benefit
- $22.00/hour plus 2 weeks vacation
- Eligibility in employer and employee paid Health and Benefit Plan after successful completion of 3-month probationary period.
- 5 paid sick days after successful completion of 90 days employment
The ideal candidate has the following :
- 1-2 years years kitchen experience
- Is punctual reliable and versatile
- Able to perform manual tasks and physical demands as required within the duties such as periods of Standing lifting bending and twisting
- Positive with a caring attitude
- Can work cooperatively and with minimal supervision
- Trustworthy and prompt
R equirements for this position:
- Required to complete and pass the Solicitor General criminal record check for the purpose of working with children.
