Jewelry Sales Executive or Sales Associate is responsible for selling jewelry and providing excellent customer service. This role involves assisting customers in selecting jewelry understanding their needs demonstrating products closing sales and maintaining the showrooms presentation. Strong sales communication and customer service skills along with a passion for jewelry and fashion are crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Building rapport with customers understanding their preferences and offering personalized recommendations.
Product Knowledge: Staying informed about jewelry trends gemstones metals and product details to effectively advise customers.
Sales Transactions: Handling sales transactions accurately processing payments and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Showroom Maintenance: Maintaining the showrooms appearance including product displays and overall presentation.
Inventory Management: Assisting with stock management including conducting stock checks and maintaining inventory records.
Achieving Sales Targets: Working towards individual and store sales goals.
Customer Satisfaction: Following up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Maintaining a professional and engaging demeanor .
Building and maintaining customer relationships .
May include handling returns and complaints professionally .
Staying informed about sales goals performance and market trends .
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Sales Skills: Ability to effectively present products negotiate and close sales.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain product details understand customer needs and build rapport.
Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide a positive and engaging shopping experience.
Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of jewelry gemstones and current trends.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in sales transactions inventory management and showroom presentation.
Passion for Jewelry: Enthusiasm for jewelry and fashion.
May include: A high school diploma or equivalent previous retail sales experience and certification or training in gemology or jewelry design.
