Job Description

Job Summary
Cerritos Nissan & Infiniti is seeking an experienced New/Used Car Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of automotive sales the automotive industry and sales management strategies as well as an understanding of customer service and marketing principles. The Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations within the sales department and will be responsible for guiding sales staff and meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this position is based on experience and performance with a range of $100000 to $180000 annually. This is a full-time position with benefits including access to health dental and vision insurance 401(k) matching vacation time and various other perks.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the negotiation process with Sales Associates ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  • Appraising vehicles for trade
  • Plan schedule and coordinate all sales staff activities.
  • Managing all three areas of customer traffic: Showroom Internet and Phones
  • Develop and implement long and short-term strategies to increase sales growth.
    Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and ensure goals are met.
    Train employees in performing dealership procedures including up selling sales techniques and collections processes.
    Responsible for day to day operations of the dealerships sales department.
    Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
    Collaborate with automotive industry contractors and suppliers to ensure availability of specific vehicles and parts.
    Monitor dealership financials to maximize profits.
    Remain current on all vehicle features and technologies and incorporate knowledge into sales strategies.

    Requirements
    5 years of automotive sales experience
    5 years of automotive sales management experience
    Outstanding customer service skills
    Proven strong organizational and planning capabilities
    Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    Excellent negotiation and conversation skills
    Proficient in MS Office
