Job Summary:
The Specialist Learning and Development (L&D) role designs and deliversimpactful learning experiences that enable employees and leaders to thrive in a fastpaced constantly evolving environment. This role leads initiatives across onboardingtechnical enablement professional development and upskilling programsensuringlearning directly drives business results and employee engagement.


Responsibilities:

  • Instructional Design & Content Development:
  • Collaborate with SMEs and other stakeholders to understand learning objectivesand performance needs.
  • Design develop and maintain instructional materials including eLearningmodules instructor-led training (ILT) materials job aids assessments andmultimedia content.
  • Apply best practices in instructional design to create engaging and effective learningexperiences that align with business goals.
  • Develop course content and training materials that cater to a variety of learningstyles and organizational needs.
  • Create blended learning solutions that combine face-to-face training eLearingand virtual sessions.
  • Utilize learning management system (Workday LMS) and eLearning authoring tools(Articulate Storyline Adobe Create Cloud text-to-speech tools etc.) to createinteractive and engaging online courses.
  • Design and build multimedia elements such as videos infographics quizzes andsimulations to enhance learner engagement.

Learning Needs Assessment & Program Evaluation:

  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze performance gaps to determineappropriate training interventions.
  • Work with leadership and SMEs to evaluate the effectiveness of training programsand make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Collect feedback from participants conduct evaluations and make adjustments toimprove the learning experience and outcomes.

Learning Delivery & Implementation:

  • Facilitate learning experiences using a variety of methods including workshops webinars simulations and group discussions.
  • Foster a safe inclusive and interactive learning environment to encourageparticipation and knowledge retention.
  • Adapt facilitation style and materials to suit diverse audiences learning styles andbusiness needs.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in instructional design eLearning tools andadult learning theory to enhance the learning experience.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to assess training materials andmake iterative improvements based on learner feedback and business needs.
  • Ensure all learning materials are designed with a focus on accessibility diversityand inclusion.


Project Management & Collaboration:

  • Manage multiple instructional development projects simultaneously ensuringdeadlines are met and stakeholders are updated regularly.
  • Work closely with L&D colleagues to support the smooth execution of trainingprograms and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of training content withorganizational goals and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritizeand manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate training effectiveness and applyfeedback for continuous improvement.
  • Creativity and a passion for innovative learning experiences.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams Excel Word PowerPoint) and eLearningdevelopment tools (Articulate Adobe).
  • Familiarity with Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs) AI technologies and othermodern learning techniques is a plus.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies ( SAM Agile).
  • Ability to design training programs that are learner-centered and outcomes to work independently while also being able to contribute to a collaborativeenvironment manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translatecomplex concepts into accessible and engaging content.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and/or Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop Illustratoretc.) highly desired.
  • Strong facilitation skills including adapting style to accommodate various audiencesizes and levels.
  • Professional demeanor with a proactive solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate high quality work

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Education Human ResourcesCommunications or related field. Certifications (APTD CPLP) a plus
  • 3 years of experience in instructional design and content development within acorporate or organizational setting.
  • A minimum of 1 year in a retail insurance and/or financial services role is a plus butnot required.
  • Experience facilitating learning solutions in virtual in-person hybrid and blendedenvironments.
  • Experience developing eLearning and blended learning programs using authoringtools such as Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate or similar.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) including content uploadtracking and reporting.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $69600 - $90400. This range reflects Acrisures good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skills experience qualifications location and internal equity.
