Job Description
If you love solving complex design challenges and collaborating across disciplines this is your chance to make a real impact.
This role is hybrid which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield Minnesota and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What youll do
- Lead UX strategy and execution for physical store environments including layout signage and interactive touchpoints.
- Translate customer insights into design concepts that improve the in-store journey.
- Create wireframes journey maps and prototypes to express and test ideas.
- Collaborate with designers engineers and business partners to bring cohesive experiences to life.
- Ensure consistency and accessibility across all store touchpoints.
- Guide usability testing and pilot programs to validate design solutions.
- 3 or more years of experience designing for physical environments spatial UX or retail/service design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end experiences across physical and digital channels.
- Deep understanding of design thinking service design and user-centered methods.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma Sketch Adobe CC and spatial planning software.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience in retail AR/VR smart fixtures or customer journey mapping
