We are excited to announce our Pharmacy Technician on-the-job training program! This is a full-time benefit-earning position that offers a competitive salary. Our program not only equips you with valuable skills but also provides a clear educational pathway to becoming a certified Pharmacy Technician through the Arizona Board of Pharmacy.

Requirements

Education

High School Diploma or GED - Required

Certification & Licensures

  • Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Technician Trainee License Required

Responsibilities

Job/Training Information

Technician trainee will spend 4-6 weeks training in central pharmacy and delivery shifts to be able to work these shifts independently.

Technician trainees will be scheduled sufficient paid training hours to complete the didactic portion of training within the allotted time. Scheduled training hours will vary based on location and needs of the department.

As the technicians complete training sections such as non-sterile compounding they would be able to have hands on experience with oversight by certified technicians/pharmacists.

Speaks in a clear and credible manner selecting the right tone for the situation and audience. Respectfully listens to others and allows them to make their point.

Solving Problems/Analytical Thinking

Takes a proactive approach to anticipating and preventing problems. Isolates causes from symptoms to clearly identify the problem to be solved.
